Olivia wedding trial #1

Only 6 months ago now one of my oldest, dearest friends Olivia (who I have known literally all of my life) was by my side as a wonderful bridesmaid on my wedding day...What a fantastic day it was, and I couldn't have done it without her.

...Now, next year, I get the honour of being one of hers too, AND doing her wedding makeup!
Excited is an understatement.

We have some time to prepare, so decided to go ahead with some practice runs.

Liv doesn't generally wear huge amounts of makeup, so we wanted to keep it light and natural but at the same time create something really special for the big day.

See below for before and afters as well as a list of the products that we used this time round...

Products used:
We began by applying The GLAMGLOW Youthmud Tinglexfoliate mask to ensure that the skin was as clean and smooth as possible.
I then used some of the Kypris antioxidant dew, followed by the Ren Omega 3 Serum.

I then went on to apply the following:

Clarins- Beauty flash balm
Becca- Liquid shimmering skin perfector to high points of face (Moonstone)
Georgio Armani - Luminous silk foundation in shade 3.5
Urban decay - Naked concealer in Light neutral (need to figure out better colour match) blended with beauty blender
Mac - Studio fix powder & bronzer (from Livs own collection)
Maybelline - Brow satin eyebrow pencil (Dark blonde)
Tarte - Exposed blush
Kevin Aucoin - Sculpting powder
Highlighter - Laura Mercier radiance powder.
Eyes - Mac painterly paint pot base then shades from Too faced chocolate palette (White chocolate base, then mainly Gilded Ganache/ Milk and Haute Chocolate - all green/brown shades)
Maybelline -  Great lash mascara
Lips - Mac Viva Glam V / Clarins Instant light 05
Set into place with Mac Fix +

Overall, we were both pleased with how the first trial turned out! ... Bring on the next one!

What do you think? Any suggestions for products/looks welcome.
