Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask:
I think it's safe to say that I will always have one of these in my skin care stash from now on. I've already gone through at least 10 so I like to think that this review is an informed one (which is always my goal).
As you can see, recently when I got down to my last one, I panicked and went out to buy 4 more.
Even better - I keep managing to find them on offer for £1...at most they retail for £1.49 - absolute bargain & steal in my eyes!!
Why do I love it?
As the name gives away - it is SO HYDRATING, with hyaluronic acid being one of the main ingredients. It's also quick and easy to use but feels like such a treat.
My skin tends to become very dehydrated, particularly with the colder weather. It's always after an extra boost of moisture. This mask adds instant hydration (as it claims) making skin look plumped and refreshed after use. (Even the husband noticed and commented, I have taught him well)
How do I use it?
I like to crack these out when I'm tired...hungover...feeling crappy....feeling great. Pretty much whenever I fancy? They feel so cooling and refreshing on the skin. I guess you could even keep it in the fridge (literally just thought of this and am pausing to put one in there for later!) for even more of a cooling effect.
I think with sheet masks - you either love them or hate them. They can feel seriously weird the first time you use them, but then you realise it's so worth it. I urge you to push through the weirdness!
They also make you look a little like a ghost which I felt was appropriate for this time of year (*rethinks Halloween outfit*)
You basically whip them out of the packet - remove the blue part, and then put the white tissue part on your face and adjust. Once the 15 minute wait is up (I recommend putting your feet up with a cuppa during this time to get the full experience) you simply peel it off. That part is also weirdly satisfying.
Rub in any leftover serum - and you're done!
All in all a wonderful, affordable way to keep your skin glowing throughout the year!
The website gives this description:
"Super-hydrating revitalising mask for dehydrated skin. Intensely rehydrates skin, reduces the look of fine lines, and revives radiance. Enriched with pomegranate extract, hyaluronic acid, and plant serum."
I can hands down say I agree with all of the claims.
I need to try more of the range.
Let me know what you think!
