I personally believe that you don't have to spend tons on high end brow products if you can find the right shade in the "drug store" versions. Especially for every day makeup.
My views didn't change when I went to NYC and swatched the Anastasia Brow Wiz in Sephora. I didn't find it too different to one of my current favourites "Archery" from Soap and Glory - and almost found it too firm? In fairness I didn't give it a proper try, but maybe that's because I am so happy with my current routine. The items below are my current go to brow products:
I like to brush my brows upwards and fill in gradually. The Maybelline master shape has an almost wax like texture that helps to shape and hold things in place, Archery has the most precise point I've ever seen and the Brow satin has a wonderful filling powder. All have benefits but if I had to choose one to take to a desert island (yes I'd still do my brows!!!) it would be Archery.
